Bringing Thomaston, CT fresh Italian food for over 30 years
Only The Best Ingredients
Pasta Heaven only uses the best ingredients. Our sauce is made with only the ripest tomatoes grown in California, and our ravioli stuffed with Polly-O ricotta cheese made in New York.
Meet Alex, Owner
It was September, 1992 when Alex made the decision to open a homemade pasta shop. He had been working part-time at another restaurant, but his parents, Joseph and Philomena Inglese, were recently retired and willing to play a vital role in helping Alex with his dream.
The first step was flying to Rome, Italy with his wife, Patricia, to purchase new pasta-making machines.
Bringing the Vision to Life
Pasta Heaven first opened its doors on November 2, 1992 as a small local fresh pasta shop. In those early days, Alex focused on take-out orders and a bit of catering, slowly building a loyal following. Before long, he began selling his homemade pasta and sauces to specialty grocery stores across Connecticut, and Pasta Heaven quickly became a favorite choice for local school and community fundraisers.
From the very beginning, the shop embodied the heart of a family business. Alex’s dad could often be found in the back room, whistling as he chopped fresh vegetables and prepared meats for the day. His mom greeted every customer with a warm smile, always ready to share tips on how to cook fresh pasta or bake the perfect lasagna.
Today, Pasta Heaven continues to thrive as a true family-run business. Alex and his wife, Patty, proudly carry on the tradition of providing the community with homemade Italian meals, bringing comfort, flavor, and a little piece of family history to every table.
